Its name comes from the Tamil language. Man-Kay means “Tree fruit”. It is one of the stars among tropical fruits because of its good flavor and superb qualities. The mango is without a doubt the “peach” of the Caribbean.
Mango is an ideal fruit to start with among tropical fruits because it is a juicy fruit, sweet and smooth, with a very attractive deep orange color.
The mangos that Frudiva uses are the Magdalena River variety.
In its ideal ripeness the mango has a delicious aroma and natural sweetness.
The mango has a high vitamin A and C content. It also has a high fiber content, which gives it laxative and diuretic properties.
